Job Overview As a Full Stack Engineer - Consumer, you will play a vital role in the development, maintenance, and improvement of our existing and new products and features. You will collaborate closely with our Product Managers and cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet our high standards of quality and performance. Your expertise in software engineering, passion for innovation, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will make you an invaluable asset to our team. Key Responsibilities Develop new and existing products and features, ensuring they meet our quality and performance standards Collaborate with Product Managers and the team to come up with the best solutions and implementation plans for new features or changes to existing ones Work closely with other product teams to deliver and improve customer-facing features, ensuring a seamless user experience Contribute to the estimations, planning, and execution of projects, features, and integrations, leveraging your expertise to drive success Integrate and work closely with external service providers to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime Maintain and improve our existing codebase, ensuring it remains scalable, efficient, and easy to maintain Write fully tested, high-quality, and performant code, adhering to our coding standards and best practices About You To be successful in this role, you should have: Experience in software engineering at leading startups or fast-growing tech companies, with a focus on consumer-facing applications Confidence in developing, releasing, and maintaining consumer-facing applications in a fast-paced, iterative environment Experience with some of our tech stack, including React.JS, Next.JS, and TypeScript, or the ability to cross-train and upskill quickly A solid understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and best practices, with experience working with cloud-based databases Experience working with applications deployed on a public cloud, such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure, with a preference for GCP Essential Qualifications In addition to the above, you should possess: A strong foundation in computer science, with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams A passion for learning and professional development, with a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban Knowledge of cloud-based security and compliance, with experience working with security teams Familiarity with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing What You Will Be Working With Our tech stack includes: Typescript as our programming language of choice Node.js as our backend platform React, React Native, and NextJS as our frontend frameworks Google Cloud Platform to host our services, with a focus on scalability and reliability Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
