About the Role We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Remote Health Care Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a member of our Customer Experience team, you will play a vital role in handling telehealth-based phone calls and email inquiries, providing support and solutions to patients and healthcare professionals. Your excellent communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities will enable you to deliver positive experiences and make a real difference in people's lives. Key Responsibilities Handle a high volume of incoming calls and emails from patients and healthcare professionals, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Provide support and guidance on insurance verifications, benefits education, billing questions, prescription issues, and technical challenges, including real-time support during time-sensitive situations Navigate multiple systems and applications to access patient information and resolve issues efficiently Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and escalate concerns as needed Consistently meet or exceed performance metrics, including call quality, customer satisfaction, and productivity standards Essential Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or college degree Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and healthcare professionals Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing time effectively Availability to work weekends and flexible hours, including evenings and holidays High-speed internet connection and a distraction-free work environment Ability to type 40 words per minute with 96% accuracy Successful completion of a background check Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field Knowledge of healthcare terminology, insurance plans, and medical procedures Experience with telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHRs) Certification in customer service, healthcare, or a related field Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
