Job Overview In this role, you will be supporting one of the largest insurance providers in the U.S., assisting with entry-level auto and property policies. As a Customer Service Representative, you will receive, review, and process calls regarding customers' insurance policies, addressing questions, concerns, and modifications to policies. While waiting for your license to be processed, you will focus on handling billing calls. blithequark will cover all training, testing fees, and state licensing requirements, investing in your growth and development as a professional in the insurance industry. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Process calls regarding policy coverage, billing, and modifications, utilizing active listening skills and effective communication Utilize system tools to search for answers and information, navigating complex situations with limited information Demonstrate critical thinking, empathy, and reliability in all interactions with customers and colleagues Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives, maintaining a high level of self-accountability and ownership Meet productivity and quality standards, adhering to blithequark's policies and procedures Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, and have a strong customer service aptitude. Preferred qualifications include 6 months to 1 year of relevant work experience, although we are willing to train the right candidate. You must also have open availability during hours of operation and be able to work in a quiet, distraction-free environment.
