Job Overview In this part-time role, you will utilize your exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to provide online customer service through our live chat support system. Your primary responsibilities will include answering questions, resolving payment issues, helping customers place orders, and troubleshooting technical problems. As a chat representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, and your ability to remain professional, empathetic, and patient will be essential in resolving customer inquiries efficiently. Key Responsibilities Resolving end-user inquiries by utilizing multiple technologies, including chat and web-based inquiries, in a timely and effective manner. Providing complete and accurate information to customers on every live chat interaction by researching account activity and notes promptly and efficiently. Handling and resolving situations with customers in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive customer experience. Assisting management with special projects relating to customer service, contributing to the continuous improvement of our support processes. Responding to all inbound chats and assisting management for the entire shift, with exception of assigned break times, to ensure seamless coverage. Handling multiple job tasks at one time, escalating issues in a timely manner, and maintaining a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: Able to sit and work at a desk and on the computer for extended periods, with a quiet, distraction-free work environment. Able to pass a typing speed test and type 50 WPM, with excellent written and spoken English skills (equivalent to CEF B2 level or above). High School diploma or GED, with at least 1 year of professional customer service experience, preferably in a large Call Center environment as a chat agent. Able to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on call center needs, and willing to accept a temporary assignment. Must reside within an approved state and have a high-speed Internet Connection (Cable, Fiber, DSL) with a hardwired connection from the modem/router to the device. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet, along with basic data entry and word processing skills. Preferred Skills While not essential, the following skills and qualifications will be advantageous in this role: College degree or some level of college completed, with a strong foundation in customer service principles and practices. Able to easily operate a computer, learning and adapting quickly to software applications, with excellent troubleshooting skills.
