Job Overview The primary purpose of this position is to perform computer data entry of prescription orders and medical records, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality standards. As a Remote LTC Pharmacy Data Entry Technician at blithequark, you will play a vital role in our team, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. Position Details We are offering two schedule options for this position: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday through Friday, and alternating weekends (Option 1) 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM Monday through Friday, and alternating weekends (Option 2) To be eligible for this position, you must currently live in a state where blithequark is licensed, including AZ, CO, FL, IL, IN, KS, MA, MI, MO, PA, OH, and WI. Additionally, experience with FrameWorks LTC is required, and experience with Docutrack is preferred. Key Responsibilities As a Remote LTC Pharmacy Data Entry Technician at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: Contacting physician's offices as needed for refill authorization Contacting clients for verification of orders as needed Processing all new and refill prescriptions Opening orders as needed, verifying eligibility, proofing, and inputting prescriptions while maintaining productivity and quality standards Documenting correspondence and follow-up in the system Preparing audit sheets and providing feedback to the manager Forwarding incomplete or rejected scripts to the appropriate department for resolution and tracking status in the system Initiating and documenting correspondence and follow-up in the system Assisting with research of lost or missing orders per internal department requests Providing backup support to other pharmacy groups based on business needs or production levels Answering incoming calls promptly and providing a high standard of customer service to clients Essential Qualifications To be considered for this position, you must have: A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) A Pharmacy Technician license and Certification (CPhT) as per state requirements Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred Experience with FrameWorks and Docutrack preferred Ability to work in a flexible schedule as operational needs dictate, including nights, weekends, and holidays Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Pharmacy data entry experience; minimum one year Strong knowledge of Brand/Generic drugs and medical terminology Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You must also be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Additionally, you should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
