Key Responsibilities As a Medical Record Coordinator and Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include: Performing quality checks on automated reports, received scans, and electronic filing for assigned products and members to maintain data integrity and accuracy. Processing members' electronic documents, verifying data for inaccuracies, and addressing any missing information to ensure comprehensive records. Resolving discrepancies identified during quality checks using standard procedures, and collaborating with respective departments for correction and resolution. Coordinating field assignments for Interpreters, taking into account availability, location, and staff allocation to ensure efficient operations. Facilitating manual mailings for other departments, as needed, to support overall business objectives. Maintaining and updating the centralized NY State Uniform Assessment System (UAS) for Integrated Products, including moving existing members, auto-enrollees, and dis-enrollments to and from the appropriate line of business lists. Performing additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A High School diploma or equivalent (GED) Basic computer skills, including proficiency in navigating the Internet and working with multiple electronic documentation systems simultaneously. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to perform quality checks and proofread documents accurately. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including editing, searching, sorting, filtering, and formatting using existing pivot tables. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Ability to prioritize and follow through on assigned tasks, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills. Experience working with electronic patient health information (PHI) databases, preferably in a healthcare environment. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, or managed care, as well as medical terminology, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Proficiency in data entry and database management, with experience using Microsoft Excel and other systems/applications. Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and software errors, with experience working with a Technician remotely to perform step-by-step repairs.
