Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional service to every caller, building trust and creating sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication. Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills to research and communicate solutions in a variety of situations. Effectively handle customer concerns by utilizing available resources to provide accurate information and ensure empathetic resolution, while keeping records of all interactions and changes. Confidentially handle policy owner information and ensure compliance and communication standards are met. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure thorough and timely resolutions for all members. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service-related position, where there is a high value placed on the customer/member experience. Insurance or call center experience is preferred, but not essential. You should also have: Demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). Technical aptitude with experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies. A basic understanding and knowledge of life insurance company operations, policies, and procedures, as well as knowledge of various insurance products. Completion of insurance industry or LOMA coursework is preferred, but not required. A High School Diploma is required, and some college-level coursework is preferred. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be advantageous in this role: Previous experience working in a remote or home-based environment. Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
