Your responsibilities will include: * **Providing exceptional service**: Building trust and creating sustainable relationships with members through open and interactive communication * **Applying problem-solving and critical thinking skills**: Researching and communicating solutions in a variety of situations * **Effectively handling customer concerns**: Utilizing available resources to provide accurate information and ensure empathetic resolution, while keeping records of all interactions and changes * **Confidentially handling policy owner information**: Ensuring compliance and communication standards are met * **Collaborating with internal teams**: Ensuring thorough and timely resolutions for all members **Required Experience** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * **Minimum 2 years experience in a customer service related position**: Where there is a high value placed on the customer/member experience; insurance/call center experience preferred * **Demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude**: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division * **Technical aptitude**: Experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies desired * **Basic understanding and knowledge of life insurance company operations**: Policies and procedures, and knowledge of various insurance products preferred * **Completion of insurance industry or LOMA coursework**: Preferred * **High School Diploma**: Required; some college level coursework preferred * **Internet with a minimum speed of 25MB download and 5MB upload**: Must be able to support a VPN **What We're Looking For** We're seeking a customer service professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional member experiences.
