As a Trip Assignment Specialist, you will play a vital role in coordinating trips, assigning dispatchers, and ensuring that our members receive the best possible service. About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to work as a Remote Night Shift Customer Service Agent, specializing in trip assignment and coordination. This is a unique opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home, Monday through Friday, from 11:30 pm to 8:00 am PT. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assigning trips to dispatchers and Care Partners, building daily schedules, and coordinating evening trips. Your exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently will make you a valuable asset to our team. Key Responsibilities Assign trips to dispatchers in the Health-E Rides system, approximately 700-900 per night, ensuring efficient and timely coordination Build dispatchers' daily schedules, taking into account breaks and lunches to ensure seamless operations Determine which dispatchers are eligible for certain trips based on the language spoken by the member, promoting effective communication Stack trips to contracted Care Partners, ensuring optimal resource allocation Answer inbound calls from members during evening hours, providing exceptional customer service and support Coordinate evening trips as they come in, ensuring prompt and reliable service Assist with Care Partner-related administrative tasks, such as payment processing, to ensure smooth operations Assist with Level 1 administrative tickets in Zendesk, providing timely and effective resolutions Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Previous experience in dispatching and coordinating transportation, preferably in a non-emergency medical transportation setting Healthcare experience is preferred, but not required, as we provide comprehensive training and support Consistently reliable and able to work evening shifts, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with dispatchers, Care Partners, and members Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously Proficiency in using software applications, such as Health-E Rides and Zendesk, with the ability to learn new systems quickly Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications will be considered an asset: Experience working in a remote or home-based environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively Knowledge of non-emergency medical transportation regulations and guidelines, with a strong understanding of the importance of compliance Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with members who speak different languages Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Customer Service : Provide exceptional customer service, responding to member inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner Communication : Communicate effectively with dispatchers, Care Partners, and members, both verbally and in writing Problem-Solving : Analyze problems and develop effective solutions, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple assignments simultaneously Time Management : Manage time effectively, working independently in a remote environment and meeting deadlines and performance targets Teamwork : Collaborate with other team members, providing support and assistance as needed to ensure seamless operations Career Growth and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
