Experienced Remote Pharmacist - Centralized Services and Data Entry Specialist for Walgreens

As a key member of the Walgreens team, you will be responsible for executing medical services methodologies, driving patient wellbeing results, and ensuring compliance with clinical pharmacy services. Key Responsibilities In this position, you will be expected to perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: Carrying out direct patient care programs, such as Drug Treatment Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects. Driving the execution of various strategies and operations to ensure business needs are met, including maximizing reimbursements while improving patient health outcomes. Ensuring region pharmacies comply with regulatory compliance, standard operating procedures, and FDA guidelines. Conducting data and clinical reviews, making strategic moves to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions, and reviewing drug records and patient profiles to guarantee proper and safe medication treatment. Providing expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field leadership, and fostering a collaborative environment that supports company policies, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Utilizing superior communication skills to win the trust of patients, listening to their concerns, and providing a sounding board for pharmacy concerns. Performing other work consistent with the job obligations as allocated by management and ensuring compliance with all HIPAA rules/regulations and government, state, and local pharmacy laws. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess: A current Pharmacist license as conferred by the appropriate state licensing authority. Experience motivating colleagues to research and resolve issues. Experience working with confidential information. The ability to work non-standard hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and/or weekends. Experience using time management skills, such as prioritizing/organizing and following details and meeting deadlines of various tasks with varying completion dates. Experience creating ways to achieve goals with minimal supervision, relying on oneself to complete objectives, and knowing when to escalate issues. Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. The ability to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state). Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Willingness to obtain other state pharmacy licenses if necessary. Knowledge of insurance plans. Knowledge of computer operating systems, including Radio, Commitment, and Plus. Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste, and save functions, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting borders, selecting page orientation, using spell check or possibly printing worksheets). Basic level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: inserting, editing, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, expanding list level, adding, centering, and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing frame view or possibly running a slide show). Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, copying, and editing text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and column width, formatting, inserting shots, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, fix, spell check, track changes, review sheet or possibly print functions).
