Essential Qualifications At least one year of experience within a healthcare or medical call center environment, with a strong understanding of medical insurance, billing, and claims processing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and provide compassionate support. Experience in processing medical and prescription claims, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Familiarity with medical insurance and billing inquiries, including benefit verification and prior authorization processes. A verifiable high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory, with a preference for candidates who have completed coursework or certifications in healthcare, medical billing, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of medical benefits, medical insurance, and prescriptions, with the ability to provide accurate and helpful information to patients. Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software applications. Certifications in medical billing, coding, or a related field, such as CPC, CMC, or CPB. Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients who speak languages other than English.
