Job Overview The Retail Customer Service Specialist is a vital member of our store team, responsible for delivering exceptional shopping experiences that exceed our customers' expectations. As a primary customer service provider, you will be the face of blithequark, greeting customers, understanding their needs, and providing personalized support to ensure a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience. Your expertise in product knowledge, brand standards, and efficient execution of front-end operations will be essential in driving business growth and promoting a positive store environment. Key Responsibilities Greet and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience, ensuring a warm and welcoming store environment. Serve as a liaison between customers and management, providing register coverage as needed and ensuring strong customer service standards are met. Assist management with department scheduling, directing workflow, daily associate assignments, and monitoring department presentation standards to maintain a well-organized and visually appealing store. Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment standards. Promote and provide training to new and current teammates on company programs, such as customer loyalty programs, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment. Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, maintaining confidentiality of all company information. Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and treated with respect, taking an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store. Perform other tasks as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing store needs. Qualifications To be successful as a Retail Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you will need: Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour), with the ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking. Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously), with the flexibility to adapt to changing store needs and priorities.
