As a Sales Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve this vision by providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive sales growth and profitability. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Sales Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to balance your time between our remote office and home, with occasional travel (less than 10%) required. As a Sales Analyst, you will be responsible for generating reports, collecting and interpreting data, and developing impactful analysis and visual models to monitor and predict sales results and trends. You will work closely with the sales team to provide sales analytics and accompany sales leaders in sales presentations as required. **Key Responsibilities** * Generate reports and collect data through systems and tools to analyze sales data, draw conclusions, and provide insights * Develop, track, monitor, and communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and trends related to sales * Identify and summarize key data trends and issues by analyzing leading and lagging indicators * Work closely with business stakeholders across the enterprise and with customer teams to understand and deliver on their specific reporting needs * Collaborate with finance, merchandising, and sales to develop, align, and evaluate sales strategies * Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts and budgets * Make recommendations as needed to improve sales, customer relationships, and profitability * Perform other duties as assigned **Essential Qualifications and Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, finance, economics, mathematics) * Two or more years of experience in data analytics, preferably in a sales or business development role * Advanced experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required * Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau and Power BI; Alteryx familiarity is also a plus * Self-motivated to engage with cross-functional teams, handle multiple priorities, and possess a business consultancy mindset * Highly organized and results-oriented * Ability to think both analytically and creatively **Preferred Qualifications and Requirements** * Master's degree in a related field (e.g., business, finance, economics, mathematics) * Three or more years of experience in data analytics, preferably in a sales or business development role * Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms * Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and software as a service (SaaS) applications * Certification in data analytics or business intelligence (e.g., Certified Data Analyst, Certified Business Intelligence Analyst) **Benefits and Perks** * Competitive salary range: $66K to $72K per year * Eligibility to participate in the annual incentive plan with a target incentive of 10% of your base annual salary * Day 1 benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA, and company-paid life insurance * Paid holidays, earn vacation time, and sick leave accrual from day one * 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan after 90 days * Additional benefits: pet insurance, maternity/paternity leave, employee assistance programs, discount programs, tuition reimbursement program, and more! **Work Environment and Culture** As a Sales Analyst at McLane, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that values innovation, creativity, and teamwork.
