Role Description We're seeking an experienced Salesforce Project Manager to lead Salesforce implementations with nonprofit organizations and higher education institutions. As a Salesforce Project Manager at Jax Consulting, you'll be responsible for delivering successful projects that meet our clients' needs and drive business outcomes. You'll work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, develop solutions, and implement Salesforce configurations that drive growth and success. Key Responsibilities Lead and project manage Salesforce implementation projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and client satisfaction Partner with clients to develop long-term solutions, assess client business requirements, and create requirements and design documentation Maintain up-to-date, current knowledge of Nonprofit and/or Education Salesforce solutions, staying current with industry trends and best practices Lead implementation solutions in multiple Clouds and conduct proactive QA on the team's solutions Serve as the first escalation point for clients, providing internal and external status updates, managing budget and scope, facilitating internal and external meetings, and reporting on project status to internal leadership Monitor and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction Optimize non-billable time to contribute to the Jax Sales, Marketing, or Services delivery model Provide informal mentorship and facilitate knowledge-sharing and growth opportunities to less experienced consultants Show a commitment to customer satisfaction, delivering project assignments on time and within budget Qualifications and Education Requirements To be successful in this role, you'll need: Salesforce certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Developer) Minimum 3 years of experience consulting on Salesforce implementations, with agile methodology experience preferred Strong Salesforce configuration knowledge , spanning various Clouds and functionalities Strong consulting skills , including project and time management, communication, and teamwork/collaboration Understanding of common business processes for nonprofits (major gift processing, moves management, and volunteer hour tracking) or higher education (executive education program management, student retention, recruitment and admissions, and advancement) Demonstrated success in leading large projects and continuously improving organizations Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience required Preferred Qualifications We'd love to see: Scrum certification or relevant experience Experience working with nonprofit organizations or higher education institutions Strong presentation skills and experience presenting to clients or stakeholders Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need: Strong project management skills , with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Strong time management skills , with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills , with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders Intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous learning Presentation skills , with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner What We Offer At Jax Consulting, we're committed to supporting your personal and professional development.
