About the Job We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Risk Engineer and Data Analyst to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our risk management program, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic vision for risk measurement, statistical modeling, and impact analysis. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a program that advances risk measurement, statistical models, and impact analysis to build confidence in risk response activities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, and develop effective control plans Design and implement key risk indicators, provide input to the development of key control indicators, and key performance indicators for various programs Apply statistical models to risk structures, including FAIR, Monte-Carlo with Spunky distributions, sensitivity analysis, and others Utilize expertise in R, Python, SQL, and other programming languages to drive data analysis and insights Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant data collection, data cleaning, and data analysis methods Participate in risk management, navigation, and collaborative conversations to drive business growth and informed decision-making Support measured risk assessments, and understand the value of subjective data for enhancements to quality and engineering cycles Utilize cybersecurity risk expertise to develop loss event scenarios across operating organizations, specialty units, projects, and products Interpret internal or external cybersecurity risk assessments in business terms, and recommend a course of action Develop templates and informative materials to support self-service risk management activities based on defined risk tolerances Monitor and identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness of risk management processes Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and a strong foundation in data analysis, statistical modeling, and risk management. You will be an expert in R, Python, SQL, and other programming languages, with a deep understanding of relevant data collection, data cleaning, and data analysis methods. You will also have experience with statistical and visualization tools, such as Scene or other similar platforms. Preferred Qualifications While not required, preferred qualifications include experience in cybersecurity risk management, data security, and compliance. You will have a strong understanding of risk management frameworks, and the ability to apply statistical models to risk structures. You will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
