Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team at blithequark. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in planning and executing cycles and arrangements related to a wide variety of informational indexes utilized for information/text mining, analysis, and business decision-making. This is a full-time, remote opportunity that offers a competitive hourly rate of $25. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute cycles and arrangements related to a wide variety of informational indexes utilized for information/text mining, analysis, and business decision-making Apply statistical analysis procedures to inspect structured and unstructured data from multiple dissimilar sources to gain insights into key business issues and expectations Develop and implement solutions from initial concept to production, and communicate results to a wide range of audiences Utilize current and emerging technologies to assess trends and develop significant insights and recommendations to management, via understanding of the business model and the data available for analysis Guide less senior staff, work in cross-functional teams and projects, and regularly present to management Drive navigation using data, statistical and quantitative analysis, limited modeling, and fact-based management Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, or Finance At least 3 years of work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations research, marketing analysis, simulation development, or predictive analysis Proficiency in analysis software and applications Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and results to both technical and non-technical audiences Excellent written and oral communication skills Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experiences are considered an asset: Experience or coursework with Agile methodologies Experience with the following: requirements gathering; probability and statistics; TSQL/PLSQL; Python or R; numerical analysis; discrete data analysis Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx, Python/R, automation, revenue data, and basic accounting information Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop insights and recommendations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate results to management Strong technical skills, with proficiency in analysis software and applications, such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx, Python/R, and automation Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand the business model and the data available for analysis Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
