Job Summary As a Senior Data Analyst at blithequark, you will play a critical role in planning and executing cycles and arrangements related to a wide variety of informational indexes utilized for information/text mining, analysis, and business decision-making. You will work under moderate supervision to apply statistical analysis procedures to inspect structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources, gaining insights into key business issues and expectations. Your expertise will be essential in driving navigation and informing business decisions, and you will have the opportunity to work on cross-functional projects and present to management. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute cycles and arrangements related to a wide variety of informational indexes utilized for information/text mining, analysis, and business decision-making Apply statistical analysis procedures to inspect structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources Gain insights into key business issues and expectations and communicate results to a wide range of audiences Utilize current and emerging technologies to assess trends and develop significant insights and recommendations to management Guide less senior staff and work on cross-functional projects and presentations to management Drive navigation and inform business decisions using data, statistical, and quantitative analysis, limited modeling, and fact-based management Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, or Finance. You will also need to have at least 3 years of work experience in estimation and analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations research, marketing analysis, simulation development, or predictive analysis. Additionally, you will need to be proficient in analysis software and applications and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Preferred Qualifications While not required, experience or coursework with SAFE Agile, probability and statistics, TSQL/PLSQL, Python or R, mathematical modeling, and discrete data analysis would be highly desirable. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx, Python/R, automation, revenue data, and basic accounting knowledge would also be an asset.
