Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our growing team and play a critical role in the growth and development of our machine-enhancing sales force. As a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will bring your industry experience to develop and maintain a production data pipeline that supports the training and production of machine learning models. This position is focused on the US Federal Sales Division and requires a unique blend of technical expertise, collaboration, and innovation. Key Responsibilities Support the implementation of recent technology packages that support US Federal Market Data Science, including requirements gathering and solution analysis. Work closely with our core IT team to support the development and production data pipeline. Review and implement data engineering best practices consistent with industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and development. Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, including monitoring and support for production. Essential Qualifications US Citizenship is required. You must live in the United States. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience. At least five years of professional experience related to data engineering in an enterprise environment. At least three years of experience supporting end-to-end development of scalable data pipelines, including monitoring and support for production. Strong skills in Python and SQL, as well as experience with data warehousing, relational databases, JSON, Apache Hive, Spark, or Hadoop, or related technologies. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a US Federal Agency. Experience with the Cloudera Platform and Docker Containers. Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Certifications in data engineering, data science, or related fields.
