Job Overview The Senior Data Engineer will play a critical role in designing and executing ETL/ELT data pipelines, developing and implementing database schema/tables/views, and building batch processes using Windstream for multiple projects. This is a full-time, remote work opportunity that offers a competitive hourly rate of $28/hour. Key Responsibilities Design and execute ETL/ELT data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity Develop and implement database schema/tables/views, optimizing data storage and retrieval Build batch processes using Windstream, streamlining data processing and analysis Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements, validate data, and ensure data accuracy Work with various technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, Gitlab, Windstream, Snowflake, Looker, and PostgreSQL Participate in driving best practices around data engineering software development processes Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field 2+ years of experience with SQL, including data modeling and query optimization 2+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines 2+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies, preferably AWS and S3 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role, with a strong focus on data architecture and design Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar Preferred Qualifications Experience with Windstream, Gitlab, Snowflake, and Scene Graduate degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field Experience in the streaming, media, or digital marketing industry Strong understanding of data lakes, data warehouses, and application databases Experience with Docker, Gitlab/Github, and social databases Skills and Competencies To succeed as a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will need to possess a unique combination of technical, business, and interpersonal skills.
