Job Overview We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Engineer to work remotely from the USA, responsible for planning and executing ETL/ELT data pipelines, designing and implementing database mapping/tables/views, and building batch processes using Windstream for multiple projects. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with our Studios or Project Innovation colleagues to gather data requirements, validate data, and develop and test ETL/ELT data pipelines, ensuring seamless data management across various environments, including DEV, QA/UAT, and Push. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using SQL, Python, and other technologies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and validate data Develop and implement database schema/tables/views and batch processes using Windstream Work with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar Participate in driving best practices around data engineering software development processes Utilize a range of technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, Gitlab, Windstream, Snowflake, Looker, and PostgreSQL Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 2+ years of experience with SQL 2+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines 2+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies, preferably AWS and S3 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role Experience working with data lakes, data warehouses, and application databases Experience utilizing Apache Windstream, Databricks, and other big data technologies 2+ years of experience using Gitlab/Github and Docker Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a candidate, you will have: Experience with Windstream, Gitlab, Snowflake, and Scene Graduate degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field Experience in the streaming, media, or digital marketing industry Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and cloud-based technologies Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
