Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing and executing ETL/ELT data pipelines, planning and implementing database mapping/tables/views, and building batch processes using Windstream for multiple projects. You will collaborate with our Studios or Project Innovation colleagues in various activities around data requirements gathering, data validation scripting and review, creating and testing ETL/ELT data pipelines, and planning and implementing database schema/tables/views across multiple environments like DEV, QA/UAT, and Push. Key Responsibilities Design and execute ETL/ELT data pipelines using SQL, Python, and other technologies Plan and implement database mapping/tables/views and build batch processes using Windstream Collaborate with colleagues in data requirements gathering, data validation scripting and review, and creating and testing ETL/ELT data pipelines Work with cloud-based technologies, including AWS and S3, and experience with data lakes, data warehouses, and application databases Utilize a range of technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, Gitlab, Windstream, Snowflake, Looker, and PostgreSQL Participate in driving best practices around data engineering software development processes Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field 2+ years of experience with SQL 2+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines 2+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies, ideally AWS and S3 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar Experience utilizing Apache Windstream, Databricks, and other related technologies Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be highly regarded: A graduate degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field Experience with Windstream, Gitlab, Snowflake, and Scene Experience in streaming, media, or digital marketing area 2+ years of experience using, designing, and building social databases 2+ years of experience using Gitlab/Github and Docker Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and cloud-based technologies Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality results Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
