Experienced Senior Data Product Manager I – Driving Business Value through Data-Driven Solutions in the Advertising Technology Space

As a key member of the Promotion Stage technology group at DE&E, you will play a pivotal role in redefining Addressable and Cross Media advertising. Job Summary In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting advertising platform data elements to validate business decisions, identify valuable trends, uncover areas of improvement, and propose solutions. You will work with both large and small datasets to analyze, package, and document findings, ultimately defining and supporting business and technical requirements for partners and application owners. The scope of data includes core advertising platform datasets, as well as cross-platform integrations within the Statement To-Money ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Define the product team's data strategy and roadmap for the Disney Advertising Sales CRM application and publishing platforms. Analyze, document, and organize platform data into product requirements and meaningful product backlog that delivers targeted incremental business value. Work in cross-functional product teams as a Data Product Manager to bring value-adding data assets to the table. Assist in Advertising Platform data analysis, design, and load processes with our MDM colleagues and Advertising Platform product colleagues. Prepare presentation materials that frame ongoing product strategy and expectations for business and technical team communication. Collaborate with peer Product Managers, Design, Engineering, QA, and Program Management to identify, assess, and implement strategic technical solutions. Provide product insights to ensure a consistent experience of user controls, data definitions, and business logic. Evaluate and recommend product enhancements and improvements that drive business value and improve return on investment through data understanding. Assist in User Acceptance Testing and implementing product release processes with end-users, technology leads, and individual Product Managers. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A minimum of 4 years of experience in a product management role in a data product development environment or related work experience. Strong proficiency in technical data handling with advanced Excel formulas. Skilled in SQL and/or Python. Ability to develop key objectives and translate requirements into technical solutions. Effective communication of complex information with internal contacts at various organizational levels. A customer-driven mindset with a desire to tackle problems creatively. Proven understanding of product development lifecycle, including systems architecture, design, and implementation. Experience in JIRA agile project management. Be flexible, adaptable, and a team player. Strong analytical capabilities are a requirement. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Past experience working with Salesforce or related CRM products is a plus. Interest or experience with emerging technologies like Gen and Predictive AI is also an advantage.
