Key Responsibilities and Expectations The primary focus of this role is to provide an outstanding training experience, creating an optimal adult learning environment that encourages growth, engagement, and performance. As a Senior Learning Specialist, you will be responsible for coaching, developing, and managing the performance and engagement of your team members. Your expertise will be leveraged to design and deliver diverse training modalities, including self-directed, instructor-led, virtual, and experiential learning programs. Supervise and analyze structured learning metrics to inform training strategies and improve outcomes for assigned territories and regions. Manage live performance metrics end-to-end, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement. Conduct learning sessions on new processes and deliver various training courses, including continuous learning, new hire batches, and transfer batches. Maintain accurate data and analysis through reports on Excel, adhering to business requirements and standards. Ensure timely completion of new hire training programs, coaching, and performance improvement initiatives. Collaborate with operational stakeholders as a key point of contact for the Learning Experience team, driving initiatives and programs that enhance the training experience. Identify, develop, and certify learning coaches to support the growth of the team. Lead individual improvement projects aimed at enhancing business performance and driving quality and learning metrics. Conduct chime sessions and classroom sessions for stakeholders, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices. Essential Qualifications and Skills To excel in this role, you should possess: 2+ years of experience in training delivery roles, with a proven track record of success. 1 year of experience in Customer Service or a related field, with a deep understanding of customer needs and expectations. Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software. Highly accurate and fluent in Japanese and English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills. Flexibility to work within a 24/7 x 365 days global team across various time zones, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Knowledge of adult learning principles, content design, and facilitation techniques, with experience in designing and delivering engaging training programs. Preferred Qualifications and Competencies While not essential, the following qualifications and competencies are highly desirable: Experience as a trainer, corporate training specialist, or related position, with a strong understanding of training design and delivery principles.
