Job Overview As a Device Services Senior Manager at arenaflex, you will have the opportunity to lead two operations teams in different locations, as well as an engineering crew. Your team will provide critical, large-scale, and complex services that enable engineers to test their functions and products throughout the development lifecycle. You will be responsible for reliably and successfully deploying and supporting these services, working closely with cross-functional partners and customers to ensure that arenaflex delivers the best-in-class services. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic direction and leadership to your team, helping to define a roadmap across functional disciplines and collaborating with key partners to deliver robust and reliable offerings for software engineering within arenaflex. Develop and grow a high-performing team, fostering a culture of operational and engineering excellence, and promoting a sense of ownership and accountability among team members. Drive consistent execution and delivery of services, using data-driven decision-making to inform your approach and ensure that arenaflex's services meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Work proactively to resolve issues and troubleshoot problems, going above and beyond to ensure that arenaflex's services are always available and performing at their best. Collaborate with first-degree managers and other stakeholders to set measurable goals and KPIs, and to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A BS in Computer Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. 2-3 years of experience working with an SRE or a software engineering team, with a strong understanding of operational and engineering principles. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. A proven track record of consistent execution and delivery, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Experience of leading first-degree managers, with a passion for developing and growing high-performing teams. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following skills and experience are preferred: Emphasis on SRE as an engineering discipline, with a focus on reliably scaling and deploying distributed systems. Experience in supporting infrastructure and services, with a strong understanding of the technical and operational aspects of service delivery. Ability to set measurable goals and KPIs, and to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team. Capacity to work and have an impact across groups and organizations, with a strong ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders.
