About the Role As a Senior Software Engineer on the Netflix Studio UI team, you will play a pivotal role in developing high-impact, scalable, and flexible systems that not only enhance the user experience but also provide critical business insights for our partners. This is a full-time, remote opportunity with the flexibility to work from anywhere, offering a competitive salary of $26 per hour. Key Responsibilities Design and develop high-performance, scalable web applications and services that meet the evolving needs of Netflix's global user base. Surface critical data insights that inform business decisions and drive the success of Netflix's content strategy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver innovative solutions that exceed user expectations. Own and resolve complex technical issues, leveraging your expertise in system design, microservices architecture, and server-side development with Java or other object-oriented languages. Drive technical innovation and best practices within the team, staying abreast of the latest technologies and trends in software development. Develop workflow-based front ends that empower Netflix's partners to create and manage their campaign plans effectively. Build scalable applications that enable efficient management, measurement, and learning from Netflix's paid, owned, and earned media efforts. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong background in software engineering with a focus on building scalable, maintainable systems. Proficiency in server-side development with Java or other object-oriented languages. Experience with microservices architecture and service-oriented design. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop intuitive solutions. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different functions and geographies. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in an Agile development environment. Knowledge of front-end development frameworks and technologies. Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools. Background in working with global, distributed teams. Experience in the entertainment or media industry.
