As a remote worker, you will need to have a quiet and secure work environment, with a minimum of 8GB RAM, a wired USB headset, and high-speed wired internet. You will also need to have a valid and up-to-date antivirus software installed and a smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad for program work. Technology and Equipment Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following technology and equipment: Personal computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM (tablets and Chromebooks are not permitted) Wired USB headset with microphone for clear communication High-speed wired internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed for seamless connectivity Operating system of Windows 10 or Windows 11 (some clients may accept AppleOS) Valid and up-to-date antivirus software installed Smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad for program work, along with an authentication app Compensation, Perks, and Benefits As an independent contractor with blithequark, you can expect to earn a competitive hourly rate, ranging from $17 to $20 per hour, depending on the client and performance metrics. You will remain an independent contractor for the duration of your program assignment. blithequark will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with blithequark. When you receive your contract, you will be asked to agree to have no claim against blithequark hereunder or otherwise for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker’s compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.
