About the Role of Student Success Coach As a Student Success Coach at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in mentoring and guiding students throughout their educational journey. Your primary objective will be to empower students to strive for academic excellence, overcome challenges, and develop the skills necessary to become successful, independent learners. You will work closely with each student, providing personalized support, motivation, and encouragement to help them achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities Support enrollment, student development, and retention services to ensure a high-quality learning experience for all students. Manage a assigned group of students, coaching each through their degree program through proactive and timely outreach. Encourage and support students through daily and weekly outreach, helping them develop the skills and knowledge necessary for academic success. Provide a trusted and supportive environment where students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests. Offer guidance on how to utilize available resources to maximize student success, including teaching students how to effectively use these resources. Become a certified resume reviewer to provide resume and career development support, helping students prepare for their future careers. Act as a liaison between students and various departments, ensuring seamless communication and support. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, as well as a minimum of two years of experience in academic/admissions support, customer service, human resources, and/or counseling. Additionally, you should have a strong knowledge of academic policies and procedures, excellent communication and listening skills, and the ability to learn technical skills quickly. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting. Strong understanding of student development theories and practices. Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong customer support focus and attention to detail.
