About the Role of Student Success Coach In this fulfilling role, you will have the opportunity to be a mentor, a guide, and a catalyst for academic excellence. As a Student Success Coach at arenaflex, you will work closely with students throughout their educational journey, providing personalized support, guidance, and encouragement. Your primary objective will be to empower students to overcome challenges, develop essential skills, and strive for academic success. You will be the trusted advisor who helps students navigate their degree programs, explore their interests, and unlock their full potential. Key Responsibilities Support enrollment, student development, and retention services to ensure a high-quality learning experience for all students. Manage a cohort of assigned students, coaching each individual through their degree program with proactive and timely outreach. Foster a supportive environment where students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests, and provide guidance on how to leverage resources for maximum success. Encourage and support students through daily and weekly outreach, helping them develop the skills and knowledge necessary for academic success. Become a certified resume reviewer to offer resume and career development support, enhancing students' employability and career prospects. Serve as a liaison between students and various departments, ensuring seamless communication and resolving any issues that may arise. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent). At least two years of experience in academic/admissions support, customer service, human resources, and/or counseling. Knowledge of academic policies and procedures, with the ability to learn technical skills quickly. Excellent communication and listening skills, including a pleasant phone manner and strong customer support focus. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a remote or virtual setting, with a strong ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively. Familiarity with student information systems and learning management platforms. Certification in resume writing or career coaching (e.g., Certified Professional Resume Writer through PARWCC). Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying learning needs.
