About the Role: Substitute Teacher We're seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Substitute Teacher to join our team in Jamesburg, NJ. As a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you'll have the flexibility to choose your assignments and work on your own schedule. You'll be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and support to students in a variety of educational settings. Key Responsibilities: Provide engaging and effective instruction to students in the absence of the regular teacher Follow lesson plans and adapt to the needs of the students and the classroom Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment Communicate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff as needed Participate in online training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge Maintain accurate records and submit reports as required Essential Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits NJ Substitute Credential Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor Background check and TB risk assessment (we'll cover the cost of this!)
