About the Job and Group We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Tech Data Analyst I to join our Innovation Planning and Analysis team within Business Operations. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with your colleagues to develop agile assessment frameworks that will be used to analyze and prioritize projects. This includes analyses related to cost modeling, sequencing and dependency planning, prioritization, and taxonomy buildout. Key Responsibilities Aggregate various sources of data to build multivariate models that help analyze and drive decisions for the organization at large Design and deploy tools and dashboards for end-users that enable data-driven decision-making Develop strategic decision-making frameworks and write scripts that help automate and scale our operations Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and identify objectives; define measurable targets and key outcomes and relevant metrics for the business; and ensure we track them Be a dedicated steward for our technology roadmap — and communicate out status and plans to stakeholders, as appropriate Drive organizational goals, navigate through challenges, handle multiple priorities, and adapt to ensure your stakeholders are successful Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you should have: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field of study, as well as equivalent work experience Knowledge of informatics, data analysis, management consulting (specifically in a quantitative or data-heavy role) Experience working with data and data manipulation software like R, SQL, Python; building dashboards using tools like Tableau, Looker — and are proficient in writing database queries and scripts Demonstrated understanding of various types of existing and emerging technologies and their ecosystems and have a highly developed understanding of how to collaborate with different stakeholders to launch new products Experience working with engineering and functional teams to develop and launch products and can translate requirements to technical and non-technical audiences Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not required, the following qualifications and skills are preferred: Experience in Technology, Media, Telecommunications ("TMT") — product management, consulting Familiarity with the online video ecosystem, advertising, or media technology landscape Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Disney Entertainment and ESPN Innovation, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
