About the Role We are seeking an experienced Technical Operations Manager to join our team at blithequark. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing high-performing teams across multiple locations and a strong understanding of Linux or Unix systems administration. As a Technical Operations Manager at blithequark, you will play a critical role in defining and delivering the perfect customer experience, leveraging your expertise to drive strategies that enhance our support services. Key Responsibilities Manage local and remote resources to ensure seamless IT support for blithequark employees worldwide. Assist in defining and owning strategies to create an exceptional customer experience, focusing on issue resolution, automation, and process improvement. Develop and leverage the team's knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues, reducing requests through innovative solutions. Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management, guiding the team with clear metrics and goals to measure success. Lead by example, promoting a culture of innovation, creativity, and customer obsession within the team. Essential Qualifications 5 years of experience in developing and leading teams of technical professionals across multiple locations. 2 years of experience as an IT Operations Manager or in a similar role, with a proven track record of success. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or 4 years of professional or military experience that demonstrates your ability to lead and manage technical teams. Strong knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration, with the ability to apply this knowledge in real-world scenarios. Preferred Qualifications Experience with IT service management frameworks and tools, such as ITIL.
