Job Overview We are searching for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Technical Support Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a Specialized Help Designer, you will be responsible for monitoring and addressing customer requests, investigating and resolving issues, automating support needs, creating runbooks, improving and maintaining help tools, and continually seeking ways to enhance the support experience. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our customer care strategy, driving process improvements, and contributing to the development of our automation tooling. Key Responsibilities Design and implement efficient support systems, processes, and tools to ensure seamless customer interactions Monitor and address customer requests, investigate and resolve issues, and automate support needs Develop and maintain comprehensive runbooks, help tools, and documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and process improvements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the customer experience Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform support strategy and process development Contribute to the development of our automation tooling, suggesting item and functional enhancements based on customer interactions Provide exceptional customer care, focusing on delivering personalized solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: At least 3 years of professional help designing experience, with a strong background in client-facing technical support Solid understanding and practical experience with form control tools, especially GitHub, including expanding, merging, pull requests, review cycles, and resolving conflicts In-depth knowledge of Gradle, with the ability to effectively manage and configure project builds and environments Strong proficiency in Java, supplemented by a comprehensive understanding of the Spring Boot framework Experience in creating tools and scripts, with a focus on process improvement opportunities through automation Strong understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and their motivations Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on extensive documentation Proven collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams A passion for technical documentation and tutorials, with a deep understanding of what makes an exceptional knowledge base Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and experiences will be highly valued: Familiarity with GRPC, including handling service-to-service IPC calls, GRPC scenarios, and knowledge of the Protobuf protocol Experience with Linux and Docker, with a background in working with Debian/Ubuntu Data-driven decision-making skills, with experience in building dashboards Insight into supporting infrastructure automation, with experience using Zendesk or other ticketing systems for organization Knowledge of and enthusiasm for observability tooling and best practices Career Growth and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members.
