Job Summary We are searching for a talented Technical Support Engineer to design and implement efficient solutions for our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and responding to client requests, investigating and resolving issues, automating support needs, creating runbooks, and improving and maintaining help tools. You will also be expected to develop a deep understanding of our product offerings and continually seek ways to improve the technical support experience. Key Responsibilities Design and implement efficient solutions for clients, including automation of support needs and creation of runbooks Monitor and respond to client requests, investigating and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Improve and maintain help tools, including self-service databases and knowledge bases Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings and continually seek ways to improve the technical support experience Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues Provide exceptional client care, focusing on client experience and satisfaction Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 3 years of professional technical support experience, with a strong background in client-facing technical support. You should also have: Solid understanding and practical knowledge of form control tools, especially GitHub, including branching, merging, pull requests, review cycles, and conflict resolution In-depth knowledge of Gradle, with the ability to effectively manage and configure project builds and environments Strong skills in Java, supplemented by a comprehensive understanding of the Spring Boot framework Ability to create tools and scripts, with a focus on process improvement through automation Strong understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and their motivations Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on extensive documentation Strong collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications In addition to the requirements listed above, the following qualifications are preferred: Familiarity with GRPC, including handling service-to-service IPC calls, GRPC scenarios, and knowledge of the Protobuf protocol Experience with Linux and Docker, with a focus on Debian/Apt Experience building dashboards and data-driven decision making Knowledge of framework automation and experience with Zendesk or other ticketing systems Passion for observability tooling and best practices Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
