Our team is passionate about building a diverse and inclusive community, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences. **About the Job** We're seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to help us onboard and support numerous internal customers onto our Unified GraphQL system. This role will involve both proactive support of customers migrating to GraphQL and on-call support during business hours. You'll also be responsible for creating high-quality documentation for our internal partners and guiding the team's design needs to enhance customer satisfaction and improve the ergonomics of our products. This position will be approximately 50% focused on support and enablement with our internal customers and 50% dedicated to working on documentation, engineer tooling, and other critical initiatives to engage our customers and reduce our active support and enablement load. **Key Responsibilities:** * Collaborate with a diverse group of partners who rely on our products to build software continuously * Dive into issues and investigate cooperatively * Write exceptional documentation (we believe "it's not done if it's not documented") * Balance the needs of our home design team and the needs of our customers * Perform multiple tasks while juggling a lot of context **What You'll Need to Succeed:** * Strong knowledge of GraphQL (extra points for Apollo Federation) * A mix of the following work experience: + 3+ years of experience in second-line technical support for enterprise software products + 3+ years of experience in technical solutions design + 3+ years of experience as a designing engineer in product development * Excellent technical writing skills * Investigating and problem-solving skills * A customer-centric mindset * Ideal to have: Java and JVM environment experience **Compensation and Benefits:** Our compensation structure consists exclusively of an annual salary; we don't have bonuses. You select every year the amount of your salary you want in compensation versus investment opportunities. To determine your own top-of-market salary, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific work family, background, skills, and experience to determine your pay in the market range.
