About the Job The Technical Writer position at blithequark is a remote, full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary of $26-$35 per hour. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation for blithequark's Cloud Database services, including user journeys, concepts, and how-to guides for enterprise clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and engineering, to identify key user journeys and develop data models that support clients through those journeys. Key Responsibilities Plan, design, write, and publish technical documentation for Cloud Database services, including user journeys, concepts, and how-to guides for enterprise clients. Collaborate with product managers, design leads, UX researchers, and UI designers to identify key user journeys and develop data models that support clients through those journeys. Work with functional partners to manage and prioritize the technical writing workload. Guide and support other writers in the Cloud Database team. Update documentation to address client feedback and internal bug reports. Collaborate with the Cloud Database team to consistently refine approaches to delivering a great client experience. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Technical Communications or a related field, or equivalent experience. At least 2 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a cloud computing or software development environment. Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team. Preferred Qualifications Experience with databases, SQL, NoSQL, and cloud products. Experience in a technical writing role, creating documentation for a technical audience, ideally for enterprise cloud services. Familiarity with HTML or markdown; experience working in a Unix environment. Ability to navigate ambiguity, support multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
