Job Summary As a Technical Writer on our Cloud Data Experience team, you will be responsible for designing, writing, and publishing technical documentation for Cloud Database services, including critical customer journeys, concepts, and how-to guides for enterprise clients. You will work closely with product managers, design leads, UX researchers, and UI partners to identify key customer journeys and create data models that support clients through those journeys. You will also collaborate with other writers in the Cloud Data Experience organization to refine approaches to delivering a great customer experience. Key Responsibilities Plan, design, write, and publish technical documentation for Cloud Database services, including critical customer journeys, concepts, and how-to guides for enterprise clients. Work closely with product managers, design leads, UX researchers, and UI partners to identify key customer journeys and create data models that support clients through those journeys. Collaborate with other writers in the Cloud Data Experience organization to refine approaches to delivering a great customer experience. Work with functional partners to manage and prioritize technical writing responsibilities. Mentor and support other writers in the Cloud Database group. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Specialized Communications or equivalent experience. 2 years of experience in technical writing. Preferred Qualifications Experience with databases, SQL, NoSQL, and Cloud products. Experience in a similar role, creating technical documentation for a technical audience, ideally for enterprise cloud services. Familiarity with HTML or markdown; experience in a Unix environment. Ability to navigate ambiguity, support multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proven communication and collaboration skills and strong drive. Skills and Competencies Excellent technical writing and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment. Familiarity with cloud computing and database management. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
