Job Overview: Telehealth Pharmacy Technician As a Telehealth Pharmacy Technician, you'll have the opportunity to impact patients' health every day through the delivery of best-in-class interventions and patient care. Working closely with pharmacists, nurses, and a supportive leadership team, you'll aid in the delivery of clinical interventions and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services for commercial and Medicare members. This role involves telephonic and video chat outreach with members to complete an analysis of their medication regimen and identify opportunities for improvement. Key Responsibilities: Place outbound phone calls to members to offer Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services and other commercial programs outside of traditional MTM. Provide outreach to members, prescribers, and pharmacy providers to enhance care coordination and support the Star ratings program. Field inbound phone calls from members to initiate MTM or other CEC services. Conduct telephonic comprehensive medication interviews and document medications as part of the MTM Program. Facilitate communication to clients, providers, and internal staff regarding CEC programs and program outcomes. Maintain knowledge of regulations regarding CEC programs and ensure compliance with all applicable HIPAA and CMS regulations. Develop a full understanding of Navitus Clients' member experience and how the CEC contributes to improved health and wellness. Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives. Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Qualifications and Requirements To succeed as a Telehealth Pharmacy Technician, you'll need: Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Valid Pharmacy technician license/certification as required by state laws. Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician. Knowledge of healthcare industry practices and HIPAA regulations. Ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees. Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual, Spanish preferred. Experience as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency in electronic health records and other healthcare software applications. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
