**Experienced Telephone Caller – Empathetic Support for Individuals with Sight Loss**

We believe that everyone deserves equal access to opportunities, and we're committed to breaking down barriers and promoting inclusivity. **The Role** As a Telephone Caller, you'll be responsible for making outbound calls to RNIB beneficiaries and supporters, providing them with relevant information, and connecting them with others who share similar experiences. Your role will be to: * Share information about available services, ways to connect with others, and opportunities to make a positive impact in society * Make brief, accurate notes in the customer contact record to support your conversations * Build rapport and establish trust with individuals, acknowledging their experiences and concerns * Provide empathetic and non-judgmental support, listening actively and responding with compassion **Key Responsibilities** * Make outbound calls to RNIB beneficiaries and supporters * Provide information about available services and opportunities * Connect individuals with others who share similar experiences * Make brief, accurate notes in the customer contact record * Build rapport and establish trust with individuals * Provide empathetic and non-judgmental support **Essential Qualifications** * Aged 18 or over * Two references required * Reliable broadband connection * Laptop or PC with access to an RNIB virtual desktop * Quiet and confidential space at home when making calls * Friendly, empathetic, and non-judgmental disposition * Ability to listen well and build rapport * Sociable nature and ability to put people at ease * Confident with IT and experience of MS Windows and common software **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience of working with individuals with sight loss or similar conditions * Knowledge of RNIB services and support * Experience of making outbound calls or working in a customer-facing role * Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to build rapport and establish trust with individuals * Empathetic and non-judgmental approach * Strong listening skills and ability to respond with compassion * IT skills, including experience of MS Windows and common software * Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively * Reliable and committed to meeting deadlines **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a Telephone Caller at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive and inclusive environment.
