Opportunity Overview: Temporary Data Entry Clerk We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Temporary Data Entry Clerks. As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will collaborate closely with our internal data management team to ensure accurate and efficient data entry, playing a critical role in our operational success. Schedule and Location The schedule for this role includes working on Fridays (once a month) and Saturdays (2-3 times a month), with times to be determined and subject to change. We understand the importance of flexibility and accommodate your availability to ensure a healthy work-life balance. This position is based at our headquarters in Palmetto, FL, and is not a remote opportunity, allowing for face-to-face interaction and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Transfer data from paper formats collected during events into our database using a laptop and mouse, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all data entry tasks. Accurately interpret and input handwritten information into our database, requiring keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Verify the accuracy of data by cross-referencing with source documents, maintaining the integrity of our database. Update and maintain existing data records, contributing to the ongoing improvement of our data management systems. Organize and file paperwork after data entry to ensure nothing is misplaced, demonstrating responsibility and reliability. Assist with other tasks as needed, showcasing your versatility and willingness to support the team. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To excel in this role, you should possess basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment, as well as the ability to type quickly and accurately (40-45 words per minute with 80-90% accuracy). A keen attention to detail is paramount, along with a basic understanding of databases and a good command of English, both spoken and written. Strong customer service skills are also essential, as you will be representing arenaflex in a professional and courteous manner. While previous data entry experience is a plus, it is not required, making this an excellent entry-point for those looking to start their career in administration or data management.
