Job Overview As a Temporary Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will be responsible for collecting, coding, inputting, and retrieving information using data entry functions. You will work closely with other department personnel to confer on data entry matters and represent Lock & Key Services on special projects. Key Responsibilities Collect, code, input, and retrieve information using data entry functions to support the UT Works Lock and Key Services Key Module Project Enter data from keying worksheets into Excel spreadsheets in preparation for transferring lock information into UTWorks Key module Program, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Evaluate and verify notes and reports for correctness and accuracy before entering information into Excel spreadsheets, maintaining a high degree of accuracy Maintain confidential records and files, ensuring security and confidentiality of sensitive information and adhering to blithequark's data protection policies Confer with other department personnel as needed on data entry matters and represent Lock & Key Services on special projects, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compose routine correspondence and perform related duties as required, utilizing Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel to produce high-quality documents and reports Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: High school graduation or GED, demonstrating a strong foundation in basic skills and knowledge Three years of experience in an office environment, with a proven track record of providing administrative support and data entry services Two years of above-average experience with data entry, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Two years of intermediate experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, with the ability to produce high-quality documents and reports Excellent telephone and email etiquette, with strong communication and interpersonal skills Current Class "C" Texas Operator Driver License required, with a clean driving record and ability to travel as needed Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Associate's degree or higher in business administration or similar, demonstrating a strong foundation in business principles and practices More than three years of broad-based experience in an office environment, with a proven track record of providing administrative support and data entry services Two or more years of above-average experience with data entry, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail More than two years of experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, with the ability to produce high-quality documents and reports Experience with direct customer service, with strong communication and interpersonal skills What We Offer At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
