About the Role: Virtual Art Educator for 6th-8th Grade We're seeking a highly skilled and certified Virtual Art Educator to join our team of educators delivering high-quality virtual academic instruction to 6th-8th grade students. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position, offering you the flexibility and autonomy to manage your schedule and teaching assignments. Key Responsibilities: Deliver Virtual Art Instruction: Teach art classes to 6th-8th grade students, promoting creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment. Develop Engaging Lesson Plans: Create strategies to engage and nurture student learning, and design lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum. Track Student Progress: Keep track of student grades and performance, providing constructive feedback to support their academic success. Essential Qualifications: Active Teaching Certification: Currently hold an active, USA state-issued public teaching certification in Art Education, with a preference for South Carolina certification or willingness to pursue reciprocity. Bachelor's Degree: Hold a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Authorization to Work in the US: Be authorized to work in the United States. Technical Requirements: Possess a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access to ensure seamless virtual instruction.
