About the Role We are currently hiring virtual assistants to work in various departments within our firm, including client support, reductions, demands preparation, medical management, intake case management, and senior case management. As a virtual assistant at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home, with a flexible schedule that allows you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. You will be working as an independent contractor, with a full-time position that requires 40 hours per week, including some weekends. Key Responsibilities Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls to the appropriate person Taking and delivering messages or transferring calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable Log phone calls and documents into our online document management system Assist office staff with clerical duties, including faxing, copying, and organizing/maintaining files Maintain frequent communication with clients and answer questions in a timely and professional manner Obtain insurance coverage information, follow up with medical treatments, and ensure proper care Obtain medical provider records and bills, and communicate with insurance companies on treatment status and updates Qualifications and Required Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Fluency in English and Spanish Solid written and verbal communication skills Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise Self-starter and multi-tasker, with the ability to work independently Commitment to punctuality and meeting deadlines Ability to work overtime on occasion Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite Reliable computer equipment, including a desktop or laptop with Core I5 or above, 12 GB of Ram, and at least Windows 10 installed USB noise-cancelling headsets and a webcam for daily meetings and huddles Internet speed of at least 35Mbps download and 15Mbps upload Essential Qualifications In addition to the above skills and qualifications, you will need to meet the following essential requirements: Previous experience in customer service and sales Ability to adapt easily to changes and work in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits We offer a competitive monthly payment of $1000, plus $50 to cover transfer fees. Payments are processed once per month and deposited on the last business day of each month. You will also have the option to choose how you receive your payment, including direct deposit, PayPal, Payoneer, and Wise.
