Key Responsibilities As a US Virtual – Part-Time Customer Service Associate (Healthcare) at blithequark, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Patient & Member Support : Answer incoming phone calls, live chats, and emails from patients and healthcare members. Provide accurate and timely information about healthcare benefits, coverage, billing, and claims. Assist patients with scheduling appointments, verifying eligibility, and accessing services. Handle inquiries with empathy, patience, and professionalism. Healthcare Service Coordination : Collaborate with providers and insurance representatives to resolve claims, billing, and prior authorization issues. Assist members with locating in-network providers and services. Process healthcare documents, claim updates, and patient records securely and accurately. Problem Resolution : Investigate and resolve member complaints or issues quickly and effectively. Escalate complex cases to supervisors or specialists when necessary. Follow up with patients to ensure resolution and satisfaction. Data Entry & Documentation : Enter and update customer information into healthcare systems with accuracy. Maintain records of patient interactions, inquiries, and resolutions. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company confidentiality standards. Remote Team Collaboration : Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions. Share insights and feedback with supervisors to improve customer experience.
