Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and passionate Virtual School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in delivering speech therapy services to students in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities As a Virtual School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, your key responsibilities will include: Assessing and diagnosing speech and language disorders in students, utilizing a comprehensive toolkit to inform your assessments and develop effective treatment plans. Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs, with a focus on creating engaging and interactive therapy experiences. Collaborating with families and educational staff to ensure optimal support for students, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that promotes student success. Utilizing a range of digital tools and resources to enhance therapy sessions, boost student engagement, and promote effective communication. Staying up-to-date with best practices in speech-language pathology, participating in ongoing professional development, and contributing to the growth and development of our clinical team. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid California state licensure and ASHA certification, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field. Experience with teletherapy is a plus, but not required – we are open to candidates with a strong background in speech-language pathology and a willingness to learn and adapt to our virtual therapy model. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with families, educational staff, and other members of our clinical team.
