Key Responsibilities: Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Create and implement personalized learning goals for students with disabilities, ensuring their academic and developmental needs are met. Adapt Curriculum: Modify teaching methods, materials, and instructional strategies to accommodate the diverse learning needs of students. Manage Classroom Behavior: Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive learning environment and address any behavioral challenges. Collaborate with Staff and Families: Work closely with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support and communication regarding student progress. Qualifications: Essential Qualifications: Master's Degree: Master's degree in Special Education or related field. Teaching Certification: Active teaching certification in Washington.
