About the Role The arenaflex Women's Health team has an exciting career opportunity for a Customer Service Support Representative. This fast-paced, work-from-home position is part of a dedicated team responsible for providing assistance to patients and clients to better understand health insurance coverage, cost and payment options, and to answer billing questions over the phone. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and support to our clients and patients. Key Responsibilities Ability to work in a high call volume environment (averaging 75 calls per day) Ability to research and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner Ability to navigate and work in multiple systems/websites simultaneously Provide assistance to prospective clients and patients regarding any questions or inquiries related to insurance coverage, financial responsibilities, and/or billing (telephone interactions) Receive and process credit card payments over the phone adhering to PCI compliance protocols Document telephone conversations clearly and accurately in the respective systems Update and maintain records in the billing system, including the review of accounts, payment collections, and case notes Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines/regulations Assist with other duties as assigned Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma (required) An associate's or bachelor's degree (preferred) 1-3 years of applicable experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to follow established program protocols and procedures Knowledge of professional medical billing and collection practices (preferred) Previous customer service experience handling high call volume (preferred) Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 codes (highly preferred) Computer proficiency - MS Windows, MS Office, and database experience Experience with Laboratory Billing and Laboratory Information System (LIS) (desired) Medicare/Medicaid billing experience (preferred) Must be organized and detail-oriented Ability to review large amounts of data for accuracy Bilingual in English and Spanish (highly desirable) Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: XIFIN experience Previous experience working in a remote or home-based environment Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software Certification in medical billing or a related field Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines/regulations Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
