External Data Management Intern
Genmab is an international biotechnology company dedicated to improving the lives of patients through innovative antibody therapeutics. The External Data Management Intern will support drug development programs by gaining practical experience in developing tools and metrics that enhance oversight of clinical trial external data during a 10-week summer internship. Responsibilities Assist with preparing, presenting, and evaluating metrics for external data vendors to identify possible process gaps and quality improvement opportunities Assess vendor contracts to ensure that data transfers and related activities are accurately accounted for and invoiced appropriately Support quality oversight of DM CROs’ external data reconciliation by compiling metrics on current processes Support development and improvement of DMx SharePoint site, vendor reference documentation, and shared folder areas Skills Enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Data Science, Clinical Trial Management, or a related field Strong organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills Proactive, accountable, with a willingness to learn Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team High attention to detail and commitment to quality work Genuine interest in clinical research and drug development Demonstrates initiative, a proactive attitude, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment Effectively communicates and collaborates with team members, mentors, and stakeholders Maintains attention to detail and quality in all deliverables while managing multiple tasks Leverages feedback to refine technical and professional skills While a familiarity with data presentation and systems will be helpful in this position, a highly technical understanding of data management is not required.
