Federal Income Tax Attorney (5+ years): Firm Wide

Holland & Hart’s Tax group is looking for a mid- to senior-level Associate, Of Counsel or early career Partner attorney to join its Federal Income Tax practice in any of our office locations. Our Federal Income Tax group represents public corporations, privately owned companies, partnerships, individuals, trusts and estates in complex transactions. This position is principally to work on renewable energy and low-income housing tax credit transactions, investment funds structuring, partnerships and joint ventures. Position Requirements Ideal candidates will have 5 or more years’ experience in federal income taxation law with an emphasis on renewable energy and credit work. Candidates will need to have the ability to work in a fast-paced, complex, team environment and delegate and manage the work of others. Federal income tax subject matter knowledge and experience are required. An LLM or tax credit transactional experience preferred, and professional or accounting experience is a plus. Compensation and Expectations Holland & Hart’s compensation is merit-based—you’ll be evaluated on your individual performance and achievements and on your contributions to the team’s efforts. As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act, Holland & Hart is providing a good faith salary range for this position (if based in Colorado): $217,000 - $300,000. Our generous bonus program rewards financial contributions and hard work and associates are also eligible for fee splits. Holland & Hart expects associates to invest 1800 hours on billable matters, 75 hours of pro bono/public service work (or 50 hours of pro bono legal work), in addition to at least 25 hours dedicated to Community, Diversity & Inclusion Investment hours.
