About the Role The Field CTO, Americas, is a senior member of Veeam’s Strategy team, responsible for advancing Veeam’s leadership in data resilience. This role serves as a thought leader, delivering Veeam’s message to senior technical and executive stakeholders across North America through events, digital content, media engagements, and strategic communications. The Field CTO collaborates with internal and external partners to shape go-to-market strategies and ensure Veeam’s value is effectively communicated to target audiences. What You’ll Do • Represent Veeam at events and to stakeholders, including customers, partners, technology alliances, press, and analysts. • Deliver Veeam’s strategic message to large audiences at regional and global technical events. Topics often combine Veeam technical capabilities, enterprise business requirements, and overall industry trends. • Partner with R&D to support product milestones and new feature launches. • Develop and deliver technical and business content for Veeam’s digital platforms, including blogs, whitepapers, webinars, and technical demonstrations. • Provide occasional training on Veeam solutions. • Cultivate strategic partnerships with strategic alliance partners to drive innovation and joint initiatives. • Conduct market research to identify trends and maintain Veeam’s competitive edge. • Foster collaboration within Veeam and with partners to promote best practices and knowledge sharing. • Lead initiatives to implement advanced Veeam solutions and explore new areas of collaboration. • Drive competitive analysis and messaging. What You’ll Bring • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. • Minimum 10 years in technology leadership roles. • Strong technical and business acumen in storage, server, virtualization, and cloud strategies. • Strong technical and business acumen in security, AI, and compliance a strong plus. • Proven main-stage public speaking skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences. • Demonstrated passion for technology and continuous learning. • Experience developing technical alliances and go-to-market partnerships. • Ability to translate technical concepts and market needs into compelling messages. • History of collaboration with product management, business development, and marketing. • Experience engaging with sales, channel partners, and customers to gather feedback. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
