WGNSTAR is a dynamic and growing company with a global footprint, primarily focused on the semiconductor industry. They are seeking an Entry-Level Field Service Engineer to perform on-site service, installation, and repair of semiconductor processing equipment, with extensive training provided. Responsibilities Become part of a team that performs OEM semiconductor equipment installation for start-up services There are several locations for a particular home base with start-up demands, and the job will require travel Training will be provided for the proper installation of the OEM equipment Performs on-site service, installation, and repair of semiconductor processing equipment Troubleshoot equipment problems Utilizes electromechanical skills to provide excellent service to customers Participates in site safety programs to create a zero-hazard environment Demonstrates ability to understand detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Understands and adheres to all site fab protocol requirements Comprehends test equipment including various test meters, hand and power tools Able to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams Skills Ability to work well with other team members Demonstrated teamwork and strong partnership within Equipment Maintenance Team with superb functional teamwork Inclined to both mentor new Technicians and openly learn from experienced colleagues Values other points of view (including Management, Operations, Engineering, Factory Business Control, Fab IT Systems, and Clean Room Facilities teams) Strong ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others to deliver quality repairs on a daily basis Ability to Travel 60%-80% domestic or occasional international travel/and or occasional overnight travel to the factory, training facilities, and customer locations may be required. Subject to customer's business needs and requirements.
